Breaking: Busia Gubernatorial Nomination Results Nullified As  Nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro Defects To ANC

ODM nomination exercise kicked off  yesterday in three counties, Busia, Bungoma and Machakos after the exercise was rescheduled last week.

Busia Governor, Sospeter Ojaamong

Funyula MP Paul Otuoma set to unseat the incumbent Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong by clinching the ODM ticket. But despite an early lead in the nomination results, Otuoma was later defeated by Ojaamong with over 30,000 votes.

The results have since been nullified by NEB due to irregularities  and the exercise is set to be repeated on Tuesday 25th  as the other results remain as announced.

Busia results per constituency.

This is comes in after ODM  nominated Senator Elizabeth  Ongoro’s defection to Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC party after she was barred from contesting the Ruaraka Parliamentary seat due to her demonstrations at the Orange House. ODM disciplinary committee fined her Ksh. 1 million with his party member and Migori Governor, Okoth Obado Ksh. 2 million.

ODM has recently cracked the whip on party members who engage hooliganism and violent campaigns which tint the party’s name  and ideologies. A good example for other parties to follow in order to maintain peace and harmony in our country.

SULTAN  JOHO : “I know I will be vindicated once again and this will never deter me from pursuing the transformation agenda for my people” .

Mombasa Governor, (Sultan) Ali Hassan Joho

Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho popularly known as Sultan Johos problems deepen day after another. His recent wars with President Kenyatta  is a clear indication that Mombasa politics are taking shape as Jubilee is hunting for coastal votes.

Recently, Sultan Joho was accused of evading tax and KRA directed  Stanbic Bank to freeze his six accounts.

In fresh claims, Sultan Joho is being accused of faking his KCSE certificate and his degree. In his first certificate, Joho is said to have sat for his KNEC exams on the year 1992 and scored a C-. KNEC has so far come out with his results in which it is indicated that Joho sat for his KCSE in the year 1993 and scored a D-. The same KNEC that cleared him to vie for governorship in 2013.

    1. Who is  behind the forgery?

Joho was  ordered to appear at the Regional DCI Headquarters in Mombasa today but later replied thorough a letter that he’ll  appear on Wednesday due to what he termed as confided prior commitments. Joho in a  tweet said “I know I will be vindicated once again and this will never deter me from pursuing the transformation agenda for my people” .

The recent disruption of Joho’s rally in Kinango  citing lack of notification clearly indicate how tight  the battle for coastal votes is. Both Jubilee and NASA have severally held political rallies in Mombasa to get the numbers come August 8th general elections.

     2. Who is ‘fighting’ Sultan Joho?

This battle has been  intensified  as Joho campaigns to counter Jubilee forays in the coast. The allegations of faking his degree and KCSE certificate are said to be politically driven to ‘kill’  him politically now that he’s seeking re-election for the moment  gubernatorial seat come August.

Joho’s vision is to be the president of the Republic of Kenya  come 2022 when he’ll battle out against Deputy President William Ruto.

Sonko : I Will Unseat Kidero.

#TeamNairobi ‘s Dennis Waweru, Mike Sonko, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and Johnson Sakaja

Nairobi politics have been intensified  after the controversial Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko presented his papers to Jubilee Headquarters and cleared ready to unseat the incumbent governor Dr. Evans Kidero
Senator Sonko has been under pressure for he is said to be unfit to run the City conveniently  even after presenting his academic papers and proved he’s a qualified candidate.

Sonko, on an interview on Citizen TV yesterday said he is the only candidate from Jubilee who can unseat Kidero having won the senatorial seat with over 800,000 votes. He read  out his manifesto and outlined issues he will deal with when he gets into office including land grabbers in Nairobi.

The #TeamNairobi members, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, Dagoretti South legislator Dennis Waweru, nominated MP . Johnson Sakaja and Nairobi senator  Mike Sonko will have to support one candidate from the group to run for the gubernatorial seat. The other members will now be accommodated in various departments in the County after their victory.

Allegedly, Dennis Waweru is said to have bowed out the race due to the so called ‘lack of influence‘. The MP who was behind the push for registration of same sex association mid 2015 has not spoken on the same. Sakaja is also said to have stepped down in favour of  a candidate from their group.

The entry of the former Gatanga MP  and 2013 presidential candidate Peter Kenneth to Nairobi’s gubernatorial seat has raised issues in the Jubilee party. It’s said Peter Kenneth could be Jubilee’s favourite for Nairobi, something the #TeamNairobi members disagree on.

Dr. Evans Kidero could be laughing  at Jubilee since they have not been clear on who will be his competitor,a similar situation in NASA which has not agreed on the flag bearer.

    Nairobi Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero
    So who will unseat Kidero?
